Chorale Fusion

Chorale Fusion is the multi-age district choir at Rapoport Academy. This ensemble has 50 members ranging from 2nd grade to 12th grade. Chorale Fusion has recently been awarded the Waco Model of Unity Award from the Community Race Relations Coalition. Chorale Fusion has performed at numerous events, including the Waco Educators' Summit, Waco's Holiday on the Square, and the Texas Charter School Convention in San Antonio.

Honor Choir

The Rapoport Academy Honor Choir is a 25 member ensemble with students ranging from 7th grade to 12th grade. The Honor Choir is engaged in another year of great music with multiple opportunities to perform and create.

 Middle School Choir

The Rapoport Academy Middle School Choir is a 35 member ensemble of 5th and 6th graders. The Middle School Choir is a new ensemble meeting the needs of our young singers. In this choir, the students learn the basics of secondary choral music.

Elementary School Choir

The Rapoport Academy Elementary School Choir is a 45 member ensemble with students ranging from 1st grade to 4th grade. The Elementary School Choir is a strong group that builds the foundation of music and performance.

Model of Unity Award

The Rapoport Academy Public School choir, “Chorale Fusion”, was a recipient of the CRRC’s 2009 Model of Unity award, celebrating the choir’s remarkable diversity.  “Chorale Fusion” consists of first through twelfth grade levels, multiple ethnicities and diversity in cultural music and musical styles. The choir performed several numbers at the September meeting, with the CRRC choir joining in the musical performance, just as they did on the Cultural Arts Fest stage.
