Please do not park in the carpool line during morning drop-off.
Earning off points: Students are able to earn off one point each day by serving break detention. We will have lunch and after school detentions beginning on Wednesday (9/16/09). Lunch detention will earn two points off. After school detention will also earn two points off. Again, we will only have lunch detention and after school detention on Wednesdays. After school detention is held from 3:30-3:45 in Mrs. Pereira’s room.
Carpool Drop-off and Pick-up: The safety of each child is incredibly important to all of us. Please do not park in the carpool line. If you need to come into the building, park your vehicle in the side parking lot. There have been too many close calls with folks trying to swerve around cars. A little extra patience during these busy times will help us all keep the kiddos safe.
HELP needed: Mrs. Pereira’s advisory group is focusing on volunteering. Their project this week is a clothing drive. Please send your gently worn clothing (all sizes) to school by Friday. We will be making a donation to the Salvation Army that afternoon. Thank you!
Lost & Found: There are several items in lost & found that need to be claimed. Items include textbooks, school supplies, pe clothes, and library books. Items must be claimed by Friday. Any remaining items will either be donated to the Salvation Army or students will be given a 5 point penalty on their BPS for not responsibly keeping track of their belongings. Lost & Found is currently located in Mrs. Franks’ office.
Tuesday Envelope: Please return the BPS in the Tuesday envelope each week. We will be using the same envelope all year. Thank you!
