High School Student Artists Shine at Fine Arts Evening

Posted Date: 03/24/2022

An Evening of the Arts at Meyer High School on Tuesday, March 22, was quite an experience!

The art, music, poetry, interactivity, engineering, and business models were such a great showcase of the incredible hard work that our students and teachers put in every day. It was a great display of our core values—in particular: creativity and hard work!

During art night, attendees had the chance to add to a district-wide collaborative art project by creating unique feathers that formed a pair of colorful Raven wings.

The feathers represent artists from 2nd through 12th grade along with teachers and parents whose individual art was made even more beautiful with collective impact.

The wings will be on display at each campus during the rest of the semester so that all our Ravens can enjoy them!

Special thanks to 11th-grade student Jane Vasut for helping sketch and assemble the wings (along with other art club members) and to Mrs. Reddick at Rapoport Academy Elementary 2nd - 4th for getting her students involved.
