New Staff Welcome: Jocelyn M Mancio, 5th Grade Science

Jocelyn M Mancio is joining the Rapoport Academy Secondary team as a 5th Grade Science Teacher.

Ms. Mancio has always had an interest in the sciences. After her internship with NASA she began working in the research field at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. She investigated the effects of electronic vapes on the human body. More specifically, Metabolic Changes in Adipose Tissue in Response to Chronic Electronic Cigarette Exposure. She then worked helping patients reduce their cigarette intake. She loves to spend time with her family, travel, and trying new things.
