Rapoport Academy Public School will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for Raven Court, the new athletic facility at its secondary campus at 1020 Elm Avenue. This event signifies the commencement of construction on a state-of-the-art gymnasium, marking a significant enhancement to our secondary campus.
About Raven Court:
Rapoport Academy has acquired adjacent land to our Elm campus (behind Tony DeMaria’s Barbecue) to facilitate the construction of this cutting-edge athletic facility. Raven Court will serve as the district's inaugural gymnasium in our 25-year history, offering a dedicated space for athletic competitions and community events.
Key Features of Raven Court:
- Six basketball goals
- Volleyball courts suitable for full-court or two-half-courts
- Fully equipped weight room and workout facilities
- Two complete locker rooms and dressing rooms
- Concession stands and ticket areas
- Administrative offices for athletic staff
- Comprehensive sound system for announcements and music
